Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, in Stavanger) is a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the press. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which were widely appreciated. She gained some further recognition through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano in the attic. She was fascinated by its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than as a job. For this reason she wrote her first original compositions. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as being her influences. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music publicly, not so that she could gain fame but rather to help others realize that they matter and the good they do to make a difference in the world. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument at the age of six. She started making music at the age of nine. They didn't even be aware until 14. Aurora did not have a set goal. She claims that she enjoys composing songs. According to her, she believes that music can help any person feel better.
