Butler started filming The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller that starred Estella Warr and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain in November 2011 Butler joined the film's cast in Los Angeles of Treachery, with Michael Biehn. Filming began in Los Angeles on June 12, 2012. Butler appeared in The Demented 2013, a horror feature starring Michael Welch and KaylaEwell.

She won a Young Artist Award in Mermaid and also the CAMIE Award in Lead Performance for a TV Movie Series or Special in Pictures of Hollis Woods.
