Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. She is known for her roles in TV and film since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was born to her aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Born and raised within New York New York. Bassett along with her sister aged five, old, emigrated out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett was in high school when watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and realized that her desire of becoming an actor had been realized. When she graduated at Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with the Bachelor's degree of African American Studies, she continued to pursue an MA (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She met Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
